Sammi Hanratty

Sammi, star of the HBO movie, An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong, and the fall 2009 release of A Christmas Carol (starring Jim Carrey & Robin Wright Penn), is a spokesperson for BullyBust. Sammi is passionate about raising awareness for bully prevention, and is an active speaker about the importance of STANDING UP and STANDING STRONG together in interviews, during select appearances nationwide, and online. She’s also created several video messages to mobilize students and adults nationwide to get involved in the campaign.


Lindsay Rush

Lindsay Rush

Lindsay is today's most celebrated and talked about up & coming singer-songwriters. Consistently in the Top 10 of Pennsylvania-based artists in the Acoustic and Folk-Rock categories on MySpace, Lindsay has worked with Pat Benatar, Lisa Loeb, Hillary Duff and more. In addition to running from gig to gig, Lindsay is also a passionate supporter and spokesperson for the BullyBust campaign. Inspired by her own experiences being bullied (and standing up to it), Lindsay has written Odd Girl Out, to inspire kids and adults nationwide.

Lindsay will be performing Odd Girl Out, among other songs, at the BullyBust Symposium for the winning school of the Stand Up to Bullying Contest. She is also creating video messages to spread the word about BullyBust and inspire kids to sign the Stand Up Pledge.


Brandon Tyler Russell

Brandon Tyler Russell

Brandon is an up-and-coming actor who has appeared in film, theatre and commercials. At only 14, he has already been nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Short Film (Young Artist Award) and has won a Juror’s Award for acting in The Briefcase Paradigm. Most recently he starred in The Exemption of Hunter Riley, a short film about bullying. Consistent in many of Brandon’s roles is the theme of bullying. He is passionate about raising awareness of the importance of bully prevention. In spite of his own early professional success, he’s been on the receiving end of teasing and harassment – and he’s seen it affect the lives of his friends and colleagues.

Brandon is creating video awareness messages for BullyBust and mobilizing friends and fans to sign the Stand Up Pledge.

Founded in 1977, PACER Center was created by parents of children and youth with disabilities to help other parents and families facing similar challenges. Today, PACER Center expands opportunities and enhances the quality of life of children and young adults with disabilities and their families. PACER is also the organization behind Kids Against Bullying and Teens Against Bullying, two bullying awareness programs that provide students with resources and activities to make a change.

The Internet Keep Safe Coalition is a broad partnership of governors and/or first spouses, attorneys general, public health and educational professionals, law enforcement, and industry leaders working together for the health and safety of youth online. iKeepSafe uses these unique partnerships to disseminate safety resources to families worldwide.
